Farm Based Cider
Big Bang Cider is a farm based cidery located on one of BC’s only 100% heritage cider apple orchards. The first harvest was picked in the fall of 2023. We are excited to share our first blends with the Nanaimo community this summer. We opened in July with a limited on-tap selection. Bottles are available on request.
Crafted on site, Big Bang Cider aims to reintroduce the community to traditional heritage cider. Our orchard features over 25 cider specific apple varieties from France, England and North America.
We also have a limited supply of modern dry cider using local ingredients such as farm-grown hops, Okanagan blackberries and fresh quince from Nanaimo-Ladysmith.
